This year we are doing things a bit different, rather than hosting a physical conference we will be hosting a range of online webinars around Health and Well-being.

Don’t worry you don’t need a computer or laptop to be able to access these events, they can all be accessed from your mobile phone.

Below you will find details of all the webinars which are due to run between the 5th and 9th October and how to book your place.

Communication in the online world - 5th October, 10am

Join us at 10am on 5th October, the aim of the course is to provide an overview of the ways to survive and thrive in the ‘new normal’, the online world of work.

 

Networking event - 6th October, 10am

Join us at 10am on 6th October, for an informal networking event.  Talk with the project  and other reps about issues faced in the workplace.

Resilience training - 7th October, 10am

Join us at 10am on 7th October, this two-hour webinar has been immensely popular during the Covid-19 pandemic. This session will provide you with simple strategies to cope better with the current situation we are all facing.

Domestic Abuse - 8th October, 10am

Join us at 10am on 8th October, for an online workshop looking at domestic abuse.  26% of women and 15% of men suffer from domestic abuse during their lifetime, find out how unions play a key role in supporting members who are experiencing abuse.

Introduction Mental Health First Aider - 9th October, 10am

Join us at 10am on 9th October, to get an introduction into becoming a mental health first aider, with some useful tips and advice.

Anxiety awareness - 5th October, 2pm

Join us at 2pm on 5th October, this webinar is presented by two highly experienced facilitators in the field of mental health and psychology. Both trained mental health first aiders, both Juliette and Kerry design and deliver training that helps people understand how the way they think and feel, affects behaviour.

Health and Well-being - 6th October, 2pm

Join us for an online webinar about health and well-being, and look at ways you can improve your work life balance.

Cats and Dogs - 7th October, 2pm

Join us at 2pm on 7th October, the course offers you a range of useful skills which will help in job interviews, meetings and presentations. There will be time at the end of the session to work though issues specific to your workplace/job role.
