URTU Learning Wales Welsh Dragon left

The United Road Transport Union (URTU), has been successful in securing funding from the Welsh Government to run an education project ‘URTU Learning Wales’ in South Wales.

This welcome news builds on the success of the English URTU Learning Project which is now in its fourth year, URTU Learning Wales will run from April 2016 to March 2018. The project aim is to highlight and support education in the workplace and wider community.

This is very much a project for you to benefit from.  URTU Learning Wales can provide direct support and resources to establish and enable lifelong learning in your workplace and community.

Within the Project Team you have a dedicated regional Project Worker who can help you develop workplace opportunities. Agnieszka Zamonski can be contacted on 07903319995 or agnieszka.zamonski@urtu.com.

Agnieszka will be able to help and advise you with your own learning journey, informing you about available courses, workshops and any topics which may be of interest. She is also able to come to your workplace to speak to your colleagues and manager about how to set up a lifelong learning agenda.

Within these pages you will be able to find information on courses and resources.

You can learn in your Workplace with the Adult Learning Wales, who we are working in partnership with the URTU learning Wales Project. This offer will provide URTU with a wide range of learning opportunities.  These are available to everyone including non-members, and a range of courses can be delivered in your workplace over a number of weeks, 1day and half-day or hourly sessions.

We look forward to receiving your support, and working with you over the forthcoming years
