We have teamed up with a providers to bring you free accredited level 2 and level 3 courses. 
These are in a wide range of subjectes that you can done from home or work and take around 8 to 12 weeks to complete.
All resourses are provided along with a dedicated tutor to offer support throughout the term of the course.
The courses are free to anyone over the age of 19, who has lived in the UK for the past three years, and is a resident in Scotland

Who can do these courses?

These courses are available free to everyone (including friends and family) who live in England, who are aged 19 or over and have lived in the EU for 3 years.

How many courses can I do?

A learner can undertake as many courses as they wish, however it is recommended to do one at a time

On the enrolment form, what do I fill in, in relation to funding / payment?

If you leave this section blank, these courses are fully funded by the SFA.

Can I request an extension for my course work due date?

Yes, if you need to extend the due date for your course work, you can contact college quoting the course you are undertaking, your name and they will be able assist.

How long do I have to wait to get my certificate?

You should receive your certificate within 12 weeks of completing the course.  If you have not received it please contact Claire O’Brien the project administrator

How long do the courses take?

Courses tend to take around 8 – 20 weeks, but extensions can be obtained for up to 12 months.

What format are the courses delivered in?

All courses are available to study in paper based format, some of the courses are also available to study online.  You will be given the choice of either paper based or online on your enrolment form.

How long does it take to receive the course materials once I have sent my completed enrollment form back?

If you have chosen to undertake the course with paper based materials, you should receive these within 2 weeks of the college receiving your completed enrolment form.

 If you have chosen to undertake the course online, you will receive all correspondence via e-mail within 2 weeks of the college receiving your completed enrolment form.  Please check your junk folder as the e-mails may have gone in there. 

 If you have not received any correspondence with this time please contact Claire O’Brien the Project Administrator and she will be able to chase these up.
