Apprenticeships – These are vocational qualifications open to all age groups– whether you have been working for years, or you are looking to progress or start a new career.There are now more than 200 different types of Apprenticeships for over 1,200 different job roles
British Sign Language– BSL is a visual form of communication using hands, facial expression and body language which is mainly used by people who are Deaf.
Dyslexia – Research has shown that between four and ten percent of the population is dyslexic, which means that 2.9 million workers could be affected. There are differing degrees of Dyslexia and not all of these are severe or obvious.

Free Distance Learning Courses – These are fully accredited Level 2 courses that are currently available FREE of charge to learners aged 19 and over who have lived in the EU for the past 3 years. There are short courses on a wide range of topics such as Certificate in Customer Service Knowledge, Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health, Certificate in Information Advice and Guidance, and Certificate in Team Leading Knowledge.

URTU ‘Wheels’ Magazine– This is our own in-house trade magazine and covers everything from our URTU Learning adult education project news, to other industrial sector updates.
unionlearn ‘Learning Rep’ Magazine – This magazine is produced by unionlearn to keep unions, project workers, union learning reps (ULRs) and other reps up to date with news, developments and resources that will help support learners in the workplace
TUC eNotes – eNotes are a great resource to help reps keep up to date on key workplace issues. Each eNote is a self-contained module that contains a mixture of text, video and quizzes. They last between 20 and 45 minutes and can be returned to as many times as you like
